The classic temperature monitoring element platinum-rhodium has a consistent thermoelectric performance and a high oxidation resistance. For long-term, S, B & R type Platinum rhodium thermocouples can be used at 1600C. However, they can also be used temperature at 1800C for short terms. High Quality Ceramic is used for the exterior cover, and high-purity platinum and rhodium alloy wire is used for the interior cover.
They are typically used in parallel with temperature transmitters, regulators, and display instruments to form a process control system for direct measurement or control of various manufacturing processes in the 0-1700C range of fluid, steam, and gas medium, as well as solid surface temperature.
Technical Details:
PtRh Thermocouple Type | Accuracy | Temperature Range (C) |
R Type Thermocouple | Class 1 / Class2 | 0-1600 |
S Type Thermocouple | Class 1 / Class 2 | 0-1600 |
B Type Thermocouple | Class 1 / Class 2 | 0-1800 |
Note : The thermocouple comes with the required Test Certificates.
